When I was a kid in the 80’s with my tanky Nikkormat, it was essentially a role-playing prop. Me on photo assignment, with a baloney sandwich in my Hulk themed backpack. It was all about the FM2 back then and my cheaper steel replica did a satisfying impersonation. So I love the retro mirrored look. The pentaprism hump is an extra move that stands tall, like a proletariat middle finger against premium, upper class minimalism. For me, it’s the Zf because Nikon has always been the horse I ride, but I love all of these “reissues,” and am glad to see them around necks again.
